I didn’t receive a confirmation, did you receive my payment?
Sometimes it takes us a few weeks to receive updates from the financial department about the payments that we’ve received. If you still haven’t received a confirmation after a few weeks, please contact us.
How do I get to NEURIZONS?

Can I park near the conference venue?
Yes, the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry provides ample free parking spots, right next to the main hall.
Can I have my travel expenses reimbursed?
Unfortunately, we are not able to reimburse you for your travels. Try to check with your home institution if travel funds are available. There are several organizations offering travel grants for conferences. Some examples can be found in the links below:

Will I be provided with lunches and dinners during the conference?
Lunch will be provided for every day in the Mensa at the MPI-bpc during NEURIZONS. Please note that the career fair on Monday is free to attend but not part of the conference. Therefore, no lunch will be provided. Dinners will not be provided throughout the conference. However, there is a barbecue on the last day of the conference, and we encourage everyone to join! In addition, snacks and hot and cold beverages will be provided during the breaks and poster sessions.

What is the prize for the Young Investigator Award?
The Young Investigator Award winner will win a COOLPIX W100 camera from Nikon!
What is the prize for the best poster?
The first prize for the best poster will receive a COOLPIX W100 camera from Nikon. The second prize will be provided by Brainbuds (a private, non-profit venture, with the long-term vision of spreading the love for science to the greater public, by currently bringing science to the people through art)
Can I also come a day late or will I miss the registration?
You may also come a day later if you choose, the registration desk will be open throughout the conference.
Can I pay with PayPal?
No, unfortunately payment via PayPal is not possible. Please write us an email to neurizons@mpi-bpc.mpg.de if transferring the money is not possible.
Will there be daypasses?
Yes, there will be daypasses that can be purchased on site. Please note that you can only pay cash on site, and that the Party and BBQ are excluded from the day passes. Can I change my abstract on the website after I submitted one?
No, unfortunately you can not change your abstract once it has been submitted. If you accidentally submitted the wrong abstract please send us an email via neurizons@mpi-bpc.mpg.de and we will try to assist you. However, please carefully review your abstract before finally submitting.
