Initiating and organising scientific collaborations is challenging, especially in interdisciplinary research networks that combine several individual projects. The requirements for organising and coordinating such networks are high. 

The workshop is aimed at scientists who would like to learn about initiating, designing and organising research networks and collaborations. The participants will develop a strategy for the successful initiation, implementation, and execution of such networks and collaborative projects. Topics such as coordination of research and researchers, reflection on one’s own role in the consortium, management and communication within the consortium, and team development will be addressed.
